A beachfront condominium for less than $400 a month – to buy? Yes. Did you know that you can own a beachfront condominium along the Gulf Shores of Florida for less than $400 a month? And it’s not junk either. There are some beautiful condominiums in Panama City Beach listed under $100,000 and with the estimated monthly payment and homeowners dues, you are around $400 a month. Of course, there are higher-priced homes up to $500,000, but if you’re looking for a great vacation home that provides a studio or just a one bedroom layouts, it’s very doable. Plus, you can rent out the condo the rest of the year and enjoy on your terms.
For instance, at the Sand Castles resort, you can get a one bedroom and one bath 440 square-foot condominium for $93,500. This is a darling condominium building but on the beach featuring a swimming pool and lots of amenities.
You can also check out the Continental which has a lot of condominiums starting at just $120,000. This would leave you with a monthly mortgage payment of about $567 per month.
You have to also consider homeowner or condo association fees. These can range from between $100 and $500 per month. These cover common area maintenance, landscaping, pool maintenance and several utilities, which you don’t have to include in your monthly mortgage payment.
The point I’m trying to make is that it’s actually very affordable to own a beachfront property. If you’re looking for a second home, vacation property or a great investment to rent out year round, the condos in Panama City Beach make excellent options!
