Easter is this weekend and there’s a lot going on around Panama City and Panama City Beach Florida.
There will be several Good Friday services happening today, April 14. 7 PM at Campbell’s temporal holiness church located at 1414 Wisconsin Ave., Lynnhaven will be a special service.
At the Marina Civic Center at 7:00 PM will be the Passion Play. Admission is free but canned good donations will be accepted at the door for center of hope.
On Saturday, April 15 there will be several Easter egg hunts.
At the St. Andrew United Methodist Church at 2001 W. 11th St. and Panama City will be an Easter egg hunt from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Enjoy free food, games and activities for the entire community.
Also on April 15 is the Easter vigil first Eucharist of Easter at 5:00 PM. They will have an Easter Sunday service at 10:00 AM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church located at 1608 Baker Court in Panama City.
The Passion Play will also be performed on Saturday at 4:00 PM at the Marina Civic Center.
The doggie Easter egg hunt kicks off at 9:00 AM the conservation Park in Panama City Beach. You can bring your dog, meet at the parks Pavilion and go on an Easter egg hunt with your four-legged pooch.
The St. Andrews Easter egg hunt starts at 9:30 AM at Oaks by the Bay Park on the corner of 10th St. and Beck Avenue in Panama City. There will also be a special needs hunt starting at 11:00 AM with special areas for toddlers and different age groups.
Zoo world Easter egg hunt starts at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at 9008 Front Beach Rd. in Panama City Beach. Season pass holders get a 50% discount but regular zoo admission applies to nonmembers.
Lynnhaven Easter egg hunt from 10 to 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Lynnhaven.
The Panama City Beach Easter egg hunt kicks off at 10:00 AM at Frank Brown Park located at 16200 Panama City Beach Parkway.
Schooners Easter celebration kicks off at 9:00 AM at the Schooners Beach club, 5121 Gulf Dr. in Panama City Beach.
The Mad Hatter’s tea party is 10 AM until noon at Central Park and Alys Beach. Join the white rabbit and Mad Hatter for hot decorating. The cost is five dollars suggested donation with proceeds going to the Seaside Repertory Theater. This is limited to just 100 guests so get in early.
Seaside Easter Celebration is from noon to 2 PM in Seaside on County 30 A.
On Sunday, Easter services will be held at all churches throughout Panama City and Panama City Beach. Be sure to check with each individual charge for service times and schedules. There will be a sunrise service at the first Baptist Church of deer point Lake at 7:15 AM. There will be an Easter sunrise breakfast message with Rev. Henry Harper at 6:00 AM on Sunday at the Tabernacle missionary Baptist Church located at 1204 Palo Alto Ave.
Rosemary Beach Easter celebration starting at 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Rosemary Beach with a non-denominational church service on Eastern green. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and then make your way to Western green for the arrival of the Easter Bunny. There will be complimentary mimosas for adults and the annual Easter egg hunt.
