2023 Food & Wine Festivals in Panama City Beach
Schooners Lobster Festival and Tournament
One of the most iconic Panama City Beach food festivals is the Schooner Lobster Festival and Tournament. Hosted by the local favorite Schooners (who call themselves the Last Local Beach Club), the event is a weeklong celebration of lobster that includes live music, fresh ready to eat lobster prepared in many ways, lobster diving competitions, a sand sculpture contest, and more. This event is fun for the whole family and represents all the best of Panama City Beach culture.
Oktoberfest at Aaron Bessant Park
Every October at Aaron Bessant Park, Panama City Beach is host to a vibrant Oktoberfest celebration. German food, craft beers, great music, and live entertainment are available all weekend long. This year the Oktoberfest festivities will take place from October 4th to 6th.
In addition to the beautiful park setting, guests can explore two beer gardens, a VIP section, and a massive beer tasting tent decorated like the authentic Oktoberfest tent in Munich. UNwineD
Taking place this year on March 31 and April 1, UNwineD is the Panama City Beach festival designed to celebrate wine, beer, and spirits. Try new drinks all weekend long, paired with specialty cuisine from local chefs.
In addition to being a fun event outside in the perfect spring weather, UNwineD benefits charities that include Make-A-Wish, Heartland Animal Rescue, and Beach Care Services. Tickets are available for the entire weekend or for special events throughout, like the kick off party with custom cocktails and live music hosted by Southern Living or the Grand Afternoon Tasting. The entire festival wraps up with a concert in Aaron Bessant Park that you won’t want to miss.
Food Truck & Beer Festival
The Food Truck & Beer Festival is a fun and casual annual Panama City Event that’s perfect for craft beer enthusiasts and foodies. Dozens of food trucks and breweries fill Aaron Bessant Park for the weekend, offering everything from fall-off-the-bone BBQ to wood-fired pizza to juicy prime rib to spicy Korean to gooey mac & cheese. Don’t forget to come hungry!
