Spring break is in full effect in Panama City Beach Florida this year. Spring break typically starts around the first week of March until about the second week of April. Depending on when your school is having their spring break, there are events, activities, and parties going on all throughout Panama City Beach. Originally known as the spring break capital of the world, Panama City Beach has been a little bit tamer in the last year.
Travel and Leisure Magazine has touted Panama City Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It can easily be reached from just about anywhere in the US by car or if you prefer to fly, the new Northwest Florida international Airport is just a few miles away. All the hotels and condominiums are gulf front and nearly every room faces the beach.
With over 500,000 students choosing Panama City Beach as their spring break destination, you won’t want to miss a moment of the fun. Due to past issues, there are some rules when it comes to alcohol in Panama City Beach. New this year there is a ban on drinking and possession of alcohol on the beach only in the month of March. Also, buyers must close at 2:00 AM instead of 4:00 AM but just in this month. There is also a ban on parking lots of businesses that must be closed after dark. There is a consumption of alcohol been in commercial parking lots during the month of March.
As long as you keep this in mind, you’re sure to have a really fun time or, simply extend your spring break event out until April.
There are a few bars that you need to be 18 years of age or older to enter the clubs and of course, 21 in order to drink but you can party and dance until at least 2:00 AM. There are dozens of live concerts, live entertainment, beach parties, outdoor concerts and more throughout the month of March and April.
