Spring break is certainly a fun time to relax, have fun and experiencing things in Panama City Beach is a great place to do that but there are some things here that you shouldn’t miss if you plan on visiting during spring break. Here are some of our favorite things.
The Panama City Beach winery. This came in at #1 of some of the best things to do in Panama City Beach. People say that even if you don’t like wine you should try this place because it’s so unique. Out of nearly 600 reviews and his received 530 excellent reviews. There are so many different flavors, wines, and notes to try including blueberry, banana, tomato and peach. You have to stop and see for yourself all the unique wines and citrus fruits available at the Panama City Beach winery. This is a wonderful winetasting experience that is fun and educational.
Water Planet came in #5 with 95% of reviewers giving it an excellent review. This is a unique dolphin swim program and a chance to see unusual undersea aquatic animals, speak to the captain and find out everything you’ve ever wanted to know about dolphins. While I know you’re not thinking education on your spring break, this is certainly something to see and swimming with the dolphins certainly can’t be beat.
Shell Island is also one of the most unique places to visit during Panama City Beach. The beach is private and secluded and you can easily take the shuttle from St. Andrews Park. People see whale bones, lots of fish, great snorkeling and a lovely excursion overall. It’s perfect for a day visit and something not to mess if you’re looking for a beach adventure while in Panama City Beach.
Shipwreck Island Waterpark is a great place to cool off if you’re looking for something other than the beach. There is a warning however, during this time it can be very busy, especially with a lot of people here for spring break but if you can go on an overcast day you might get some of the best rides available. This is clean family fun and a great place to hang out.
This is just some of the unique things to see and do in Panama City Beach during spring break but there are plenty of other bars, restaurants, nightlife and entertainment to be had.
