After the accidental death earlier this year of Elliot, a lovable 5 month old giraffe, attempts were made to locate a replacement and the searches were successful! A 7 month old baby giraffe named Chase was located in Virginia. Chase has arrived at the zoo and according to the staff, is getting along very well with Lynne, the one year old female giraffe. Make it a point to stop by and say hello to Chase and his friends. The zoo operates on donations.
