Shipwreck Island Water Park
If you’re not sick of the water yet, maybe take one of your days from your vacation and visit Shipwreck Island Waterpark. This unique adventure Park is located at 12201 Hutchison Blvd. in Panama City Beach Florida. With over 3,000,000 gallons of water, there’s an activity and adventure for people of all ages and sizes. There’s a huge wave pool, raft down the lazy river, amazing slides, perfect wading pools for little kids and the tree top drop, which is a fully enclosed tube ride racing from a 65 foot tall platform.
If you’re tired of the beach and you want something a little more death-defying, check out some of the amazing waterslides at Shipwreck Island Waterpark. The Tadpole Hole is over an acre of swimming pools, slides and attractions for the very littlest participants. The Free Fall is an enclosed tube ride that shoots writers out from a freefall drop slide. There’s the lazy river if you simply want a clone to an inner tube and float down the river for an hour or two and then there’s the White Knuckle River, which twists and turns down nearly 400 feet of water slide splashing into a huge pool at Skull Island.
Of course there is food, picnic tables, lounge chairs, and lockers. If you’re simply there to take in the sun while the kids play, there’s plenty of deck chairs to soak up the sun and simply enjoy relaxing on your vacation. From the crazy 35 mph drops to the lazy, less than 1 mile an hour rivers, there’s something for everyone at Shipwreck Island Waterpark.
