Get the suds a bubbling, it’s Oktoberfest time! You don’t want to miss the 30th annual Oktoberfest in Panama City Beach Florida September 26 and 27th in downtown. Come on out on Friday and Saturday for a fun and family filled event in downtown. Enjoy German food, live music, and a complete German style village that’s been transformed for your entertainment. Of course, there will be plenty of beer, sausage and lederhosen to go around.Oktoberfest in Panama City BeachStarting on Friday the event kicks off with the tapping of the cake about 4 PM. Events, music and food will go through 10 PM and on Saturday the events will start at 11 AM until 10 PM. The location is downtown on Harrison Avenue and it’s something that’s free and open to the public. Of course, you’ll see locals, visitors, artisans and more strolling the downtown streets garnering a tasty sausage in one hand and a stein of beer in the other. The entire Harrison Avenue from the 300 to the 500 block will be close to vehicle traffic but store hours will be extended including retail vendors and children’s activities. Enjoy sword fights, Bavarian food, local bands and of course nearly 30 beers to sample and taste. Even though admission is free is usually around a $10 requested fee for the beer garden, but this is likely to change year after year.

So whether you love salty pretzels, tangy beer or just a delicious sausage, you have to come down for the annual Oktoberfest. Get serenaded by local bands, dance the night away, and keep the kids busy with blowups and inflatable’s will you relax in the beer garden.
